What the store had to do

labels Islamabad sells women's designer wear: formal, festive, luxury pret, wedding and jewellery. Customers shop by occasion and by designer, so the store had to be easy to browse both ways, show a dress clearly, and make choosing a size simple.

What was built

Atif Bashir set up and built the store.

• The store itself. Collections, products, menus, the policy and help pages (returns and exchange, shipping, FAQs, privacy, terms), newsletter sign-up and a customer account, with prices in rupees.
• Browsing. A menu for designers and one for jewellery, collections by occasion, and a "shop by designers" section. Collection pages have a category list, an availability filter, a choice of grid sizes, items per page and sorting.
• The product page. Large photographs, size buttons, quantity with a running subtotal, a size guide, a wishlist and sharing.
• Extras that help people decide. Quick view, compare, a wishlist, an email when a sold-out piece is back, a "shop the look" view, and a "watch and wear" section.
• Talking to the shop. A WhatsApp button on every page, and an announcement bar for the current collection and shipping.

The theme was customised to suit the brand, and apps were added for the extras above.

Result

The store is live and ships across Pakistan and to other countries. We are not publishing sales or traffic figures here.
